Macmillan Publishers have asked me to illustrate this super cute middle-grade book called 'Sticker Girl', which is about a shy Latina girl who is crazy about stickers. The best thing about that - it's half a fantasy story as it contains, amongst other things, a dizzy fairy, a pink pegasus that smells like peppermint and a feisty little talking cupcake called Craig! The cupcake and the protagonist Martina have some very funny dialogues indeed; I really enjoyed illustrating the little fellow. Another great thing when I finally got a printed copy: the front of the book is covered in glitter! Magic.
Check out this cool London fabric that I designed with German supplier Micha's Stoffecke. The brief was to create some cool guys hanging out in London, something for the older kids. These pictures by Pom & Pino popped on my screen today, who used the fabric to make an oversized jumper - I think the results are just super cool! London, baby!
Well I just loved seeing this fabric that I've designed a long time ago with felinchens turned into leggings. They are so cool and verrrry Pippi Longstockings! The fabric is still available at felinchens dawanda shop.
What a cutie! I designed the patterns for Hemmers Itex 'Little Darling' - now the magazine has used the fabrics to make a small hat and adorable little baby harem pants. Not only that, they have gone one further and made the character come to life by turning him into 3D items! There is a musical plush penguin and a super cute wall decoration where he's hanging from his balloons and a fluffy white cloud - I think I'm a little bit in love!
Just look at what I got in the post, a box full of the cutest baby clothes! I designed these couple of prints for London Cute - a British brand of baby clothes designed in the UK made from the finest Peruvian Pima Cotton. They do feel so soft and the print detail and stitching is brilliant, and just look at those sweet little booties :) Copyright: London Cute.
